I'm Slacking...

I haven't posted in a while, so here's what's going on.

Jax is sick. Poor baby has croup. He sounds AWFUL! He really sounds like he is having a hard time breathing, but the dr. says he is breathing good. So, we just wait it out. That is tough; I hate that I can't do anything to help him.

Payton was sick all last week with an upper respiratory infection. She is doing much better, but still is coughing a little bit. I'm sure she gave this to Jax.

Friday night we are going to the circus. We are really looking forward to it! We have gone the past few years and had a blast. Last year we were somewhat disappointed in the circus, but this year Bello is Back! It's a Bellobration! It should be lots of fun! I am debating on whether to take Jax with us or leave him with a sitter. Part of me wants to take him with me, and part of me wants to just let him chill here with a sitter, and then we would have some one-on-one time with Payton, which she never gets anymore. So, we will see. I have a couple days to think about it.

Anyway, that's the latest with us, and why I haven't posted much. I'm sure after this weekend, I will have tons of pictures to post!

He's growing so fast

Last night Jax slept in his crib for the first time. He did great. He slept from 9:30p til 2:40a, I got up to feed him, and 20 minutes later he was back to sleep. I did have to get up a few times and put his paci back in his mouth, but other than that, he did great! Oh, and he might have slept even longer, but I woke up at 2:30 worried about him in there, so I went to check on him, and a few minutes later he was up. So, who knows how long he would have slept. I am going to miss having him right next to my bed, but I won't miss that bassinet in there. It's always in the way, and driving me crazy!

Bowling is Fun!

Last weekend we wanted to do something fun with the kids, so we got together with my brother, SIL, and nieces, and went bowling. The girls had so much fun, and we did too. I must point out that I am a much better bowler than my hubby. I got three strikes in a row! As always, here are some pictures from the festivities.

Cousins!

Look at that concentration!

I hope it makes it all the way down there!

Trying REALLY Hard. How cute is she in those bowling shoes?

Three of the cutest little girls ever!

All Together Now, AWWWW...

Look at my little swimmer!

Look at how well Payton is swimming. I am so proud of her!

Let Freedom Ring!

We stayed home this year for the Fourth, and we had a great time. We were able to celebrate with family, relax, shoot fireworks, and just enjoy the holiday. Jax was such a sport, and really hung in there for his First Fourth of July. On Friday, we veg'd most of the day, then went out to eat with my Brother, SIL, their kids and my Mom, and then we went to the festivities nearby. Saturday we cleaned up, cooked, and had family over for a pool party. That night, we set off a few fireworks of our own. All in all, it was a great weekend. Here are a ton of pictures that we took this weekend! The two cute brunette's are my nieces. Enjoy!

Look Who is Already 3 Months Old!!

My sweet baby, Jax. I can't believe you are already 3 months old. You have made our family complete in the short three months you have been here. I can't even remember what it was like without you. You fit so nicely into our family, and there is no lack of love or attention for you here. You have a big brother who adores you, a big sister who loves you to pieces, and a Mommy and Daddy who couldn't imagine life without you.
We thank God everyday that He blessed us with you.

Here are some of the things about you at three months old:

- You are still breastfeeding well, and you still eat pretty often.
- You are still sleeping in the bassinet right next to me, and neither me or Daddy can bear to move you to your crib.
- You sleep about 5-6 hours at night, then it's up every 2-3 to eat.
- You LOVE your swing. Sometimes I think you would rather be in there than be held. You can swing for hours on end.
- You also love to be wrapped up on Mommy. You get right there on my chest, and fall fast asleep. Mommy loves it too!
- You're not a big fan of the car or carseat. You do ok in it, but it's certainly not your favorite!
- You smile and coo at us all the time. I LOVE IT! You make the sweetest little noises talking to me, and I love to talk back to you.
- I think I have heard you laugh once or twice, but you're not quite there yet with the laughing. I can't wait though. I know it will be so cute!
- You HATE tummy time. I think you will put up with it for about thirty seconds, and that's it!
- You have had three shots so far, and you didn't like any of them. After your second round (at three months), you ran a fever for a couple of days. Mommy & Daddy didn't like that at all.
- You still have just as much strawberry-blonde hair as you did when you were born.
- You are Really trying to suck your thumb. Every opportunity you get, that fist goes straight to your mouth. Mommy pulls it out and gives you your pa-pa.
- You love the water. The bathtub and the swimming pool just relax you, and you are just so sweet!
- You are such a big boy, and I can't wait to see how you change in the months to come!
